I'm all for the classics...Halloween 1&2, The Exorcist, and Vincent Price beauties like House on haunted hill and wax museum. Those are true horror movies and easily beats the Saw, Hostel series! True horror over gore anyday!

I have got to say the saw movies are by far the scariest for me. I always seem to put my hand over my face but peek through my fingers like that is going to make it less scary.

The first scary movie I ever saw was The Birds. I was a kid, and it scared me so bad. I think because of those memories, the movie still creeps me out. Flocks of birds can put that scary feeling in me!

Most so-called scary movies are just gross & stupid. I just do not care for them. I like something closer to "realistic" Jaws was pretty scary in its time. The whole audience gasped at the same time!

Scariest movie... Hm. This is a really good question. I would have to say that I absolutely cannot watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose. It really gets me everytime. Or Psycho! Oh my God! That movie has fully instilled the fear of showering without the bathroom door locked.
